"Can poor Girl from teeny tiny sea village escape greedy relatives, be very much famous, find maybe, someday most huge love? Please to join this Girl as she is travel from sea village to cousin in mountain to truck stop on autostrada to sex castle on hill. Is very very excitement!"

Abby Dylan and Mark Lewis star in a virtual staged reading of Mara Lathrop’s IS STORY OF POOR SEA VILLAGE GIRL, a darkly farcical female picaresque about an optimist in a pessimistic world of misogyny and abuse. At a beach bar on the edge of her village, the Girl is putting on a floor show for her audience of tourists. In broken and colorful English, she recounts her story of stumbling through all the wrong places on her way to creating a lucrative business and finding unexpected true love
